What Questions Does This Report Answer?

The Subscription LTV report will provide insights specifically around subscriptions, or Recurring Offers being sold. This report will show Profit per Subscription, removing any One-Time/Non-recurring Offer data.

What is the Date Operator Used?

Date Operator: Subscribed Date

The date in which a new subscription was acquired. The data is reflective of all revenue processed for that subscription through today’s date.

 

What are the Prerequisites/limitations of this report? 

Prerequisites:

  • The customer is enrolled in a recurring offer (Subscription) which requires a cancel request to terminate any future charges or us utilizing Retention Settings.
  • For customers that have an Order where one Offer is Recurring and one is One-time, the Recurring Offer is included and the One-time Offer is excluded.
  • Profitability Calculations: The user has configured costs. Learn how to add costs here.

What Metrics are on this Report?

 

Metric Definition Calculations
   
Subscriptions The total count of all subscriptions.  
New Customers The total count of unique customer records with their first successful sale.  
New Customers Rate The percentage of subscriptions that are from new customers. New Customers / Subscriptions
Gross Product Revenue The total revenue amount of the offers sold before taxes, shipping, discounts, and adjustments.  
Discounts The total amount of discounts applied.  
Shipping Revenue The total shipping amount collected.  
Tax Collected The total tax amount collected.  
Total Revenue The total revenue amount from sales after discounts, as defined in your Company Profile. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue  
Revenue Per Subscription The total revenue amount per subscription, after discounts.  
Adjustments The total amount of revenue lost to adjustments. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue Refunds + Chargebacks + Voids + Alerts
Refunds The total count of processed refunds.  
Refunded Revenue The total revenue amount lost from refunds. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue  
Voids The total count of voided sales.  
Voided Revenue The total revenue amount lost from voids. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue  
Chargebacks The total count of processed chargebacks.  
Chargeback Revenue The total revenue amount lost from chargebacks. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue  
Alerts The total count of all alerted transactions.  
Alert Revenue The total revenue amount lost from alerts. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue  
Net Revenue The total revenue amount after adjustments. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue Total Revenue - Adjustments
Net Revenue Per Subscription The average net revenue amount collected per subscription. Net Revenue / Subscriptions
Cost of Revenue The total cost of revenue. COGs + Ad Spend + Processing Fees + Alert Fees + Chargeback Fees
Cost of Goods Sold The total cost of goods sold.  
Ad Spend The total amount of ad spend.  
Chargeback Fees The total amount of fees associated with chargebacks.  
Alert Fees The total amount of fees associated with alerts.  
Processing Fees The total amount of processing fees associated with charges.  
Profit The total profit after operating expenses. Revenue will pull from Company Settings whether to include Shipping and/or tax in Revenue Net Revenue - Cost of Revenue
Profit Per Subscription The profit per subscription after operating expenses. Profit / Subscriptions
Customers The total count of unique customer records.  
Subscriptions Per Customer The average number of subscriptions per customer with at least one subscription. Subscriptions / Customers
Profit Margin The profit margin for sales. Profit / Total Revenue
Net Product Revenue The total revenue amount of the offers sold after discounts, before taxes and shipping. Gross Product Revenue - Discounts
Adjustment Rate The percentage of Total Revenue that Adjustments makes up. Adjustments / Total Revenue
Ad Spend Rate The percentage of revenue that ad spend makes up. Ad Spend / Total Revenue
Chargeback Fees Rate The percentage of revenue that chargeback fees makes up. Chargeback Fees / Total Revenue
Alert Fees Rate The percentage of revenue that alert fees makes up. Alert Fees / Total Revenue
Processing Fees Rate The percentage of revenue that processing fees makes up. Processing Fees / Total Revenue
Processed The total amount processed for the offers sold including tax and shipping.  
Rewards Applied The total rewards applied to the subscription  
Gift Cards Applied The total gift card applied to the subscription  
Transactions The total count of transactions for the subscriptions.  
Transactions Per Subscription The total count of transactions for the subscriptions.  
Active The total count of active subscriptions.  
Retention Rate The percentage of subscriptions that are still active Active / Subscriptions
First Renewals The total count of subscriptions that had a successful first renewal.  
First Renewal Rate The percentage of subscriptions that had a successful first renewal First Renewals / Subscriptions
Average Renewal Cycle The average cycle that the subscriptions churned  
Discount Rate The percentage of Gross Product Revenue that was discounted. Discounts / Gross Product Revenue
Transaction Refund Rate The percentage of Transactions that were refunded.  
Refunded Revenue Rate The percentage of revenue that was refunded.  
Transaction Void Rate The percentage of Transactions that were voided.  
Subscription Voids The count of subscriptions that had at least 1 void.

Subscription Chargebacks The count of subscriptions that had at least 1 chargeback.  
Subscription Chargeback Rate The percentage of subscriptions that had at least 1 chargeback.
