What Questions Does This Report Answer?

The Inventory Forecasting Report will provide you with insight into your upcoming scheduled shipments, the items and quantities associated with those shipments, and the likelihood that these will convert into successful shipments.

The Inventory Forecasting looks at 30 day rolling metrics around existing customer behavior and performance to determine the likelihood of conversion. This uses a variety of customer characteristics in within the calculations.

Scheduled prepaid shipments are included on this report.

Key Metrics

  • How much product do I need to have at the warehouse to support by existing subscribers and shipments (Real-Time Forecasted Items)
  • How many shipments have a successful charge vs how many are still queued up to charge?

Dont be misled

  • Forecasting reports are inclusive of data AFTER the initial sale.
  • Forecasting reports do not include future initials, that have not yet happened
  • Initials that have happened are counted separately (New Queued Items)

What is the Date Operator Used?

Date Operator:Scheduled Shipment Date

The date in which a shipment is created for a single Item. This date could be in the past or future. For future shipments, all prepaid subscriptions will be reflected. For renewing subscriptions, only the upcoming renewal cycle will be reflected.

Scheduled Recurring Items The total count of all recurring items that are scheduled to ship. This number includes the initial shipments for prepaid charges. Pending + Cancelled + Skipped + Declined + Queued
Cancelled Recurring Items The total count of scheduled recurring and initial prepaid items in which the shipment was cancelled before the shipment scheduled date.  
Cancelled Recurring Item Rate The percentage of recurring and initial prepaid items in which the shipment was cancelled before the shipment scheduled date. Cancelled Recurring Items / Scheduled Recurring Items
Skipped Recurring Items The total count of scheduled recurring and initial prepaid items in which the shipment was skipped before the shipment scheduled date.  
Skipped Recurring Item Rate The percentage of recurring and initial prepaid items in which the shipment was skipped before the shipment scheduled date. Skipped Recurring Items / Scheduled Recurring Items
Declined Recurring Items The total count of scheduled recurring and initial prepaid items in which the transaction that would trigger the shipment, was declined.  
Declined Recurring Item Rate The percentage of recurring and initial prepaid items in which the transaction that would trigger the shipment was declined. Declined Recurring Items / Scheduled Recurring Items
Pending Recurring Items The total count of scheduled recurring and initial prepaid items that have not processed a charge, skipped or cancelled. Scheduled Recurring - Cancelled - Skipped - Queued - Declined
Pending Recurring Item Rate The percentage of scheduled recurring and initial prepaid items that are pending a successful charge. Pending Recurring Items / Scheduled Recurring Items
Queued Recurring Items The total count of recurring and initial prepaid items that have had a successful charge and are ready to be shipped.  
Queued Recurring Item Rate The percentage of recurring and initial prepaid items that have had a successful charge and are ready to be shipped. Queued Recurring Items / Scheduled Recurring Items
Forecasted Recurring Items The total count of scheduled recurring and initial prepaid items that are forecasted to be successful based upon historical performance data.  
Queued Prepaid Items The total count of prepaid shipments that were triggered from a successful charge and are ready to be shipped.  
New Queued Items The total count of new recurring and initial prepaid items that were successfully charged and ready to be shipped.  
Real-Time Forecasted Items The total count of items that you can expect to ship, inclusive of successfully queued, new and remaining forecasted items. Total Queued Items + Pending Forecasted Sales
Total Queued Items The total count of all items ready to be shipped. Queued Recurring + Queued Prepaid + New Queued
Item Shipped The total count of items successfully shipped.  
Item Shipped Rate The percentage of recurring and initial prepaid items that have had a successful charge and have been shipped. Items Shipped / Total Queued Items
Total Shipments The total number of shipments.  
Orders The count of orders associated with the items.  
Pending Forecasted Recurring Items The total count of forecasted recurring items that have not processed a charge, skipped or cancelled.  
Real Time Forecasted Recurring Items The total count of forecasted recurring items that were processed successfully, plus the remaining pending items. Queued Recurring Items + Pending Forecasted Items
Forecast Accuracy The accuracy of the forecasted recurring items. The accuracy will continue to improve over time with additional learnings. Queued Recurring Items / Forecasted Recurring Items
